10-Year-Old Indy Girl Survives Rare Bone Cancer Twice

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A 10-year-old Indianapolis girl who has twice survived a rare bone cancer is being praised for her efforts to help other children diagnosed with cancer.

Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman on Wednesday presented a Hoosier Rising Star award to Tatum Parker, who provides backpacks full of activities to nearly every child in Indiana diagnosed with cancer.
