Olympic Gold Medalist Facing Drunk Driving Charges

(ANGOLA, IN) - U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist and Woodburn native, Lloy Ball faces drunk driving charges.

The Steuben County Sheriff's Department says Ball was pulled over over the weekend near Pokagon State Park.

Authorities say Ball was driving home from a wine tasting event in Clear Lake.

Ball was the captain of the gold medal-winning volleyball team in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.
