Man Killed While Painting Strips On Highway

(COVINGTON, IN) - Police say a man who was painting stripes on a state highway was struck and killed by a passing motorist.

28-year-old Jeremy Bagwell of Kokomo was working for Milestone Contractors on a stretch of Indiana 63 a few miles north of Interstate 74 when he was hit by a sport-utility vehicle.

Police say the driver wasn't immediately arrested or ticketed.
