(MECCA, IN) - The Mecca Fire Chief is facing charges this morning for allegedly driving drunk into a house and killing a man.

Parke County Sheriff's Deputies say Michael Collum lost control of his Ford Mustang and it went through the front of a house across from the fire station early Tuesday.

Stacey Williamson died and his wife, Mary, is in critical condition.

The couple's two sons and two nephews apparently saw the whole thing happen.

Collum is facing a preliminary charge of DUI causing death.
