(UNDATED) - The Indiana State Police Crime Lab is celebrating its 75th anniversary.
The crime lab is where investigators process and analyze DNA evidence involving homicides, sexual assaults, burglaries and robberies.
The headquarters is located in Indianapolis, but labs are also located in Lowell, Fort Wayne and Evansville.
Heidi Haas says Hollywood depictions of crime scene investigations are often glamorized. She notes technology is always evolving and becoming more advanced.
