Humane Society Cuts Adoption Fees Due To Over Capacity

(BUTLER) - Dekalb Humane Society may have to put down dozens of animals because their over capacity.

Director James Hatfield says the economy has a lot to do with the influx of stray animals. Over the past six weeks, the shelter has been overwhelmed by 150 new stray animals.

Adoption fees have been cut in half, now ranging from $10 to $40 dollars.
