Formal Murder Charges Filed Against Reserve Officer

(MUNCIE, IN) - Formal murder charges have been filed against a Reserve Officer for the Gaston Police Department.

36-year-old Benjamin Hankins is accused of shooting his estranged wife, Lisa "Nettie" Peterson-Hankins this month.

Prosecutors say the couple had been in the process of a divorce.
