(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The FDA has approved extended use of the drug Humalog for the control of high blood sugar.
Eli Lilly and Company is being allowed to label Humalog for seven days in use in the external pump reservoir and three days for the infusion site.
Previous Labelling called for replacement and a new site every 48 hours.
