(MUNCIE, IN) - A crash killed two teenagers and injured one Wednesday night in Delaware County.
Lt. Arlan Johnson with the Delaware County Sheriff's Department says the teens were traveling at a high rate of speed on the Eaton-Albany Pike Near North County Road 500 East around 6:00PM when the driver lost control.
He says the driver apparently tried to correct and drove off the right side of the road, hitting three trees.
The car split in two after hitting a large tree.
The three passengers were ejected from the vehicle.
One was taken by medical helicopter to a hospital in Indianapolis while the other two were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
