(GARY) - Majestic Star Casinos implemented some staffing changes this week that affected about 50 employees at the two Gary gaming boats.
General Manager Larry Buck says some full-time employees affected were offered and accepted part-time jobs, and others were laid off.
The casino also closed the top floor of Majestic Star II and moved its poker room to a lower level.
Union officials said they were informed of the cuts in a meeting last Friday.
