Town Council Candidate Arrested For Child Molesting

(ROSELAND, IN) - A town council candidate in northern Indiana has been arrested on child sexual abuse charges.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office says 41-year-old Michael Gillam Jr. is charged with child molesting, sexual conduct with a minor and child exploitation.

Gillam is the only Republican candidate for an at-large seat on the Roseland Town Council in the November election.
