(TIPTON, IN) - The Tipton County Tobacco Prevention Group is looking for the city council to pass a smoking ban.
City Council officials were waiting to see of the Indiana General Assembly passed a statewide ban before pursuing any local legislation.
A town hall meeting is scheduled for Wednesday to take questions and educate the public about the dangers of secondhand smoke.
