Last updated on Monday, April 4, 2011

(NOBLESVILLE, IN) - Police are trying to determine who abandoned two dogs and seven puppies outside a business in Hamilton County.

The Decker Terrier mix dogs were tied to a fence and the puppies left in a box outside the Strawtown Auction Barn on Thursday night.

Animal control officers say the puppies are about 5-weeks-old.

All of the dogs are being held at the Hamilton County Humane Society.
