(GREENWOOD, IN) - Greenwood Police Officer Nick Dine will find out today if he will remain on the force after a merit board hearing.
Dine is accused of leaving a baby unattended in his car and getting into a verbal confrontation with patrons outside a restaurant last October.
The merit board was unhappy with the then Chief of Police dropping all charges against Dine after a closed-door meeting in exchange for a five-day unpaid suspension and mandatory counseling.
