(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Governor Mitch Daniels Wednesday delivered the keynote address at the Midwest ISO Annual Stakeholders’ meeting in downtown Indianapolis.
More than 300 electric utility executives listened as Daniels praised the organization's leadership in electric reliability, calling Miso the "hidden gem of our economy."
The Governor also fielded questions from attendees interested in Daniels' potential presidential candidacy.
Daniels told the group the next president must get the federal budget under control.
It's a task, he says, that Indiana has achieved under his administration.
Each year, the Miso Gathering brings together industry leaders and state regulators from the 13 states and Canadian Province of Manitoba that participate in the electric grid operator.
