(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis Metro Police say a 4-year-old boy was shot in the hand with a rifle at an apartment complex on the eastside of Indianapolis.
The shooting happened this morning around 10 at the Lexington Point Apartments near 38th Street and Post Road.
IMPD Officer Catherine Cummings says the circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.
The boy's father and two other people who were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting are being questioned, but no arrests have been made.
The child is listed in stable condition at Riley Hospital for Children.
