(STATEHOUSE) - Thousands of protesters surrounded the Indiana statehouse Thursday during a rally against republican-backed legislation.
Union members say their wages are under assault and proposed education reforms will hurt public schools, children and teachers in unions.
A few house democrats came back from Urbana, Illinois to support the demonstrators.
