(STATEHOUSE) - Union groups continue to make their presence known at the Indiana statehouse with a New Orleans-style funeral procession to mark the “death of the middle class.”
The Indiana AFL-CIO helped stage the mock funeral proceedings Tuesday as part of a ongoing protest to what they call anti-union legislation backed by republicans who control both the house and senate.
House Democrats are boycotting the statehouse in an effort to thwart some of those bills.
