No Resolution In Sight In Statehouse Stand-Off

Last updated on Wednesday, March 9, 2011

(STATEHOUSE) - There is no resolution in sight involving the three-week stand-off in the Indiana house.

The Democrats' boycott over bills involving education reform and labor unions has effectively shut down business in the chamber since February 21st.

Democrats Tuesday remained in Urbana, Illinois, despite the $250 per day fines that Republicans began imposing on them Monday.

House Speaker Brian Bosma says his caucus will not be bullied into any negotiations outside statehouse walls.
