(STATEHOUSE) - Deputy Secretary of State Sean Keefer, second in command to Secretary of State Charlie White, has resigned.
Jason Thomas, Communications Director for White's Office, confirms Keefer turned in his resignation on Friday, the same day White plead not guilty on seven felony counts involving allegations of voter fraud.
White has refused to step down as Secretary of State, despite a request to do so by Governor Mitch Daniels.
