Protests To Continue In Right-To-Work Bill

Last updated on Tuesday, February 22, 2011

(STATEHOUSE) - More protests expected today at the statehouse, a day after a house committee approves a bill to make Indiana a right-to-work state.

Hundreds of union members from across the state gathered at the statehouse Monday in opposition to the legislation.

AFL-CIO President Nancy Guyott says average wages are lower and workplace safety suffers in states with right-to-work laws.
