Super Bowl Committee Continues Indy Preparations

Last updated on Thursday, January 6, 2011

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis 2012 Super Bowl Committee firmly believes the city will host the game, despite much speculation about a lockout in March.

Committee Chair Mark Miles says he's talked with NFL officials and believes it's highly unlikely there won't be a super bowl.

Miles says preparations continue for the city to host the game and funding remains intact.

Miles says even if the game is canceled, it's understood that Indianapolis would host a future game, but wouldn't say when.
