(LITTLE POINT, CO)- A Colorado man was killed and his daughter-in-law was injured Friday in a crash along Interstate 70 near the Morgan-Putnam County line, police said.
Police say the SUV left the roadway and continued for more than 300 feet before striking a large tree.
Driver Rodney L. Yocum, 56, of Colorado, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His daughter-in-law, Ruvylene Yocum, 30, also of Colorado, who was riding in the back seat, was airlifted to Methodist Hospital with facial injuries.
