(UNDATED) - Indiana Senator Evan Bayh is thanking Hoosiers for their support over the course of his political career.
Bayh leaves office in two weeks, but billed a series of news conferences around the state as his farewell appearance.
Unlike his last farewell, as he left the governorship in 1996, this one had an air of finality as Bayh talked about his career in the past tense, although the senator declined to rule out another run for office.
