Jail Officer Pleads Guilty In Drug Case

(COLUMBUS, IN) - A former Bartholomew County Jail Officer pleads guilty to his involvement in linking illegal drugs found at Bartholomew County Jail to the wrong inmate.

30-year-old Jacob Hopkins is scheduled to be sentenced January 25th for official misconduct, a Class D Felony.

Other charges of conspiracy to deal cocaine and obstruction of justice will be dropped as part of a plea agreement.
