(UNDATED) - INDOT has awarded another road contract in the I-69 construction.
Construction on the $70.5 million section from the Patoka River Bridges to State Road 61 in Pike County is expected to begin in early 2011.
INDOT Deputy Commissioner of Major Programs Samuel Sarvis says they have been challenged by the governor to complete I-69 from Evansville to crane by the end of 2012 and is confident they will meet that time frame.
