Republicans To Focus On Job Creation

(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - From 48 to at least 58. Indiana House Republicans say they will use their new-found majority to pursue an agenda focused on job creation, redistricting and local government reform.

Presumptive House Speaker-Elect Brian Bosma also lists the creation of a state budget without raises taxes as a top legislative priority.

Republicans are set to take control of the Indiana house for the first time in six years.

The GOP also gained at least three seats in the senate to win more than a two-thirds majority.
