(EVANSVILLE, IN) - More than 1,200 items were auctioned Thursday at the former Whirlpool Refrigerator Production Facility in Evansville.
The plant is expected to be empty by the end of the year.
Auctioned items included 250-ton presses, forklifts and hand tools.
