(AVON, IN) - A 16-year-old is in critical condition after jumping off a third floor balcony at the Hendricks County Courthouse Wednesday morning.
He was being escorted by officers for an initial hearing on a battery charge.
Lt. Jim Yetter with the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department says they got off the elevator on the third floor and the teen ran and jumped over the balcony.
