Man Accused Of Stealing From Youth Basketball Group

(ANDERSON, IN) - The treasurer of a youth basketball organization in Pendleton has been arrested for allegedly stealing money from the group.

54-year-old Mark Gardner of Anderson is accused of stealing over $71,000 from the Pendleton Youth Basketball Association.

Gardner is charged with 6 counts of forgery and 6 counts of theft.

State police began investigating in November 2009.
