Columbus Shooting Suspect To Spend 9 Years In Prison

(COLUMBUS, IN) - A man who shot and seriously wounded another man in the Heritage Heights Mobile Home Park in Columbus will spend 9 years in prison.

35-year-old Juvencio Montes Villanueva was sentenced Wednesday for shooting Alberto Esparza Avitia multiple times outside their residence.

Police think the shooting stemmed from an argument over drugs.

Police found about 10 pounds of marijuana in the mobile home.
