(MUNCIE, IN) - Muncie Police say thieves stole 2,500 dollars worth of items from a local church including $300 dollars worth of bible’s.
Pastor Aston Chambers of Mt. Zion Baptist Church had used one of the bibles for 28 years.
He says notes for his sermons, and his parents obituaries were in that bible.
Pastor Chambers isn't sure how his church will recover, but he says he's already forgiven the thieves.
