(JASPER, IN) - State police are investigating another phone and e-mail scam.
This one involves scammers who call or e-mail a victim informing them that a family member has been arrested and needs to have bond money wired to be released from jail.
Police say the scammer will identify themselves as a representative of a police agency and weave an elaborate story about how the relative was arrested.
