(UNDATED) - Members of Indiana’s Washington delegation have mixed reaction to President Obama’s speech on the troop withdrawal from Iraq.
7th District Congressman Andre Carson says he was encouraged by the president's words of withdrawal considering the numerous lives that have been lost throughout our time in the country.
Senator Richard Lugar says he understands why the president made the remarks, keeping to a pledge made on the campaign Trial, but the reality of the situation in the country will keep the U.S. there well beyond a year.
