(RISING SUN, IN) - A court-appointed psychologist doesn't believe a rising son teenager who strangled his 10-year-old brother is a psychopath.

Dr. Edward Connor was cross-examined Monday during the fourth day of Andrew Conley's sentencing hearing in southern Indiana.

Prosecutor Aaron Negangard pressured Connor about whether Conley showed signs of a psychopathic personality, but Connor testified the teen didn't fit that profile.

Instead, he believes Conley was likely in a dissociative state when he killed his brother Conner.

The mental illness is described as a condition in which the mind seems different than the body.
