(NOBLESVILLE, IN) - A jury has handed down a guilty, but mentally ill verdict in the attempted murder of State Representative Ed Delaney.
38-year-old Augustus Mendenhall was on trial this week for felony charges of attempted murder, robbery resulting in bodily injury, aggravated battery and criminal confinement, along with a misdemeanor charge of resisting law enforcement.
Sentencing is set for October 15th.
