Forclosures May Be Higher This Year

Last updated on Friday, September 17, 2010

(UNDATED) - New foreclosure data for Indiana shows over 5700 foreclosures in the state in August. Realty Trac lists Marion County with the highest rate in the state followed by Lake, Allen, Elkhart, and St. Joseph counties.

Rural counties like Clay, Owen, Jackson and Jennings counties have the lowest rates in the state.

Indiana Foreclosure Prevention Network Manager Stephanie Reeve says the state's foreclosure rate is on track to be slightly higher this year than 2009.
