Prosecutor Dropping Charges In Officer's DUI Case

Last updated on Friday, August 20, 2010

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Hours before Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi announced he’s dropping four of the seven charges against an Indianapolis Metro Policeman, a judge agreed officer David Bisard’s license can’t be suspended.

The law allows that if there's probable cause to suspect drunken driving, but officers insist they didn't suspect it.

The city has requested an f-b-i review of the team which investigates DUI's.

Officer Bisard was involved in a crash in which a motorcyclist was killed.
