Indianapolis Police Chief Recommends Officer's Firing

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Chief of the Indianapolis Metro Police Department is recommending an officer arrested after a domestic dispute be fired.

24-year IMPD Veteran Sgt. Stephen Blinn was arrested August 5th after an altercation with his girlfriend in Hendricks County.

He is currently on unpaid leave. Chief Paul Ciecelski says he has reviewed the incident and will recommend termination to the Civilian Police Merit Board.
