(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - Legislators are seeking a middle ground to cut the flow of explicit text messages among teenagers.
Under current law, teenage "sexting" could lead to child pornography charges.
The General Assembly tried unsuccessfully this year to find a way to crack down on the practice without branding teenagers as sex offenders.
House Judiciary Chair Linda Lawson, who also chairs the study committee, says she expects legislators to agree on an anti-sexting law next year.
