Alaskan Plane Crash Has Hoosier Ties

(UNDATED) - A plane crash in Alaska continues to have an effect in the Hoosier state.

Former United States Senator Ted Stevens, who was born in Indianapolis, died in the crash.

Indiana University is also reporting that the father of one of its football players, Paul Phillips was onboard the same plane and is among the dead.

Phillips' younger brother was one of four survivors.
