Neighbors Discover 3-Year-Old Wandering Indy Streets

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Neighbors called police after finding a 3-year-old girl wandering the street on the near north side of Indianapolis.

The girls screams got their attention around 3:30 this morning at 40th & Winthrop.

Police are questioning the girls 17-year-old uncle who officers reportedly found asleep.

Officers say the mother is pregnant and went to the hospital after experiencing contractions.

The child was unharmed.
