Health Foundation Pleased With Obama HIV Awareness Push

Last updated on Wednesday, July 14, 2010

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis is pleased with a push by the Obama Administration to curb new HIV infections and raise awareness about those living with the virus.

Program Manager Jason Grisell says it's important to renew efforts because many Americans no longer view HIV/Aids as an urgent health problem.

Data compiled by the Indiana Aids Fund shows HIV/Aids cases can be found in all Indiana counties.
