Ground Broken In Daviess County On I-69 Project

(WASHINGTON, IN) - The Indiana Department of Transportation broke ground in Daviess County on the third section of the Interstate 69 construction project.

Section three begins just north of U.S. 50 and stretches roughly three miles north in Daviess County.

Construction on sections 1 to 3 should be completed by the end of 2012 at a cost close to the original estimate of $700 million.
