$10 Million Deal Signed To Keep Pacers In Indy

Last updated on Tuesday, July 13, 2010

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A three-year deal is in place to keep the pacers in Indianapolis. Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and pacers officials announced the deal Monday.

Under the terms, the Capital Improvement Board will provide $10 million dollars in a loan to pacers sports and entertainment for operating expenses at Conseco.

The pacers get to keep running Conseco Fieldhouse.

Jim Morris with the pacers says, while they were hoping for a long-term deal where the city would just give them the money, this will help a lot.
