Studies Suggest Computer Use May Effect Brain Activity

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - An assortment of studies suggests multitasking between computer, t-v and other media can make us more easily distracted, or less able to switch between tasks.

Some scientists hypothesize the computer age is rewiring our neural pathways to process information differently.

Indiana University School of Medicine Neurologist Dan Rexroth says none of those theories is yet proven.

A UCLA study suggests computer users display greater brain activity than nonusers.
