Plea Agreement Arranged For Teen Mother

Last updated on Wednesday, June 23, 2010

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - There’s a plea agreement for the teen mother accused of giving birth and then getting rid of the child.

Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi says 19-year-old Tasha Miller has agreed to plead guilty to neglect.

Brizzi says miller admitted to giving birth back in early May, but tried to save the baby.

According to court papers, miller was trying to hide her pregnancy because she was involved with a woman.

The 19-year-old went through 20 hours of labor in her east side apartment and tried to save the child, but could not.
