Health Officials Optimistic About The End Of H1N1 Flu

Last updated on Monday, June 7, 2010

(UNDATED) - Indiana health officials are cautiously optimistic they’ve seen the last of H1N1 flu for a while.

The World Health Organization announced Thursday it still considers H1N1 a pandemic, with plans to revisit the question next month.

But Indiana hasn't had a case in more than a month, and State Health Commissioner Greg Larkin says a feared "third wave" of the flu bug may never arrive.
