Fungus Could Spread Into Indiana Tomato Crops

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - A fungus-like organism could attack tomatoes in southern Indiana.

Late blight of tomato has been found in Boone County, Kentucky, which borders Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties in southeast Indiana.

The airborne disease damaged tomato plants in at least 30 Indiana counties one year ago.
