Attorney Asking For New Judge To Handle Murder Case

Last updated on Wednesday, June 9, 2010

(BOONVILLE, IN) - David Camm’s lawyer is asking the Indiana Supreme Court to appoint a new judge to handle his murder case.

The motion asserts Warrick County Superior Court Judge Robert Aylsworth has taken too long to rule on Camm's request for a change of venue.

If a new judge is appointed, he or she would handle the change of venue and possibly a third trial.

The former Indiana state trooper has been convicted twice for the murder of his wife Kimberly and their two children in September 2000 in their Georgetown home.

Both convictions were subsequently overturned.
